Can someone PLEASE kick my butt!!! i can't get back in the groove Rate Topic: -----

i feel like a real slug lately. I want to get back in shape but this summer was crazy and i didnt work out at all!!!! Now i am all jiggly again and i want to start eating better and doing pilates everyday. I have so many excuses but mostly just NO TIME. My boys are in school part of the day but i use that time to clean and run errands. UGH..can someone kick me in the butt to get back on the piltes wagon!!! My skinny clothes are too tight now......HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Here's my logic: I know that I will get the stuff done like dishes, laundry, at some point during the day - with or without the kids there. But if I don't make time for myself FIRST, it won't happen. If I were you, the minute the boys go out the door for school, do 20 min of pilates FIRST thing, no excuses. I find, that in my life, cleaning & errand running take up as much time as they possibly can - if I have 2 hrs, it'll take 2 hrs, in spite of my best intentions. Besides, if you do cleaning & errands in super fast motion to get it done after pilates, then by golly that is some cardio too. lol.
Its easier said than done, and easier for me to say than do - but putting ourselves first & that little bit of time to exercise as a priority is a great thing to do for you! And if you need more justification: a girl has more energy AFTER she exercises, it gets you going, so you'll be more efficient the rest of the day ;)

I was going to same the same thing as Melissa ...as soon as the boys are off to school do something for yourself. Then it is done!! Hugs!

we will get back in the groove together! Maybe I'll even start tomorrow!! Let's make a committment!! And take before pictures so we can have proof pilates works...again!

I am feeling pretty crappy due to my fall, but I will try to start tonight or tomorrow. Maybe I can walk off some of the pain. I am disgusted by my body, but as you saw through webcam, I still eat junk. I deserve it. I can't be like the rest of you and eat extremely healthy. I am a candy addict (recently dried apple addict) and I can't give up completely.

I need to just make it every day and not stop. If I let myself have a day off, it becomes two, then three, etc. So maybe I can check in with you guys daily and keep me on my wagon this time. I just can't promise I can start tonight. My shoulder is killed, my arm is bruised to death, my neck and knee hurt lol. I AM A MESS!!!

Please, starting Monday, make sure I am doing something!!!!

I am so, so out of the Pilates loop, and I need it so badly! I want my pilates body back!
