I ended up going into the hospital last night around 8:00. They gave me two bags of fluids. I figured once I hit the 15 pounds lost threshold I needed help
I was actually home again by 12:00, They also gave me graval (thank you, thank you)
They think it was most likely food poisoning.
We had hamburgers the night before, and when I was half done mine I realized it was still raw in the middle.
I am so tired, yet can't sleep. Got kids to daycare this morning around 7, and will probably go for a nap very soon.
I still can't stand up very fast, the muscle in my stomach don't want to move.
I can feel every sip of water as it works its way through, but at least I'm not being sick anymore. They said the diarhea may last another 1 or 2 so I guess I'm home from work for a couple more days.
They were full of questions about spinach, but no cases have been found here in Canada yet. Every person who came to see me asked me again and again. I felt like putting up a sign that said No I did not eat spinach" LOL

Oh no! While you're obviouisly not 100% yet, I'm gld you're feeling better than you were. That about the raw hamburger? I think I would have thrown up when I saw it... And people think I'm crazy for having all of my meat cooked to a crisp. Ha. I hope you're feeling like yourself real soon!

Oh, that sounds horrible!!! I had my first case of what I think was food poisoning after a race in May & it was HORRIBLE!! That sounds even worse though. Rest up & I hope you're feeling better soon!
