I know that I have been MIA for a while, but we have had a very busy summer and starting the new school year. Kyle is now a high school freshman playing on the football team and enjoying it. Korey is in the 7th grade and went out for student council and made it. He is not an officer, but part of the council and he really enjoys it. Kacy is in the 5th grade and sadly lost her school bus driver last week. The viewing was today and we went to pay our respects. We didn't stay long, we didn't know anyone. She had a heart attack, five hours of open heart surgery and then on Wednesday appartently had another heart attack and they couldn't save her. That is so hard on the kids, they all rode the bus with her and she was a sweet, sweet person.
We have placed on our house on the market as of 05 September with our realtor friend. We are not sure what will happen, heck it took us 15 months to sell the other house. We have decided that we want to build again and Kevin is drawing up some nice plans. It is too large at the moment, but once he gets it the way that he wants he will start to make better adjustments on the sizes of the rooms. With the chocolate business, this house won't work for us and we need a basement as well as more space. It is hard to give this up, but we will stay in the area as we don't want to move the kids to another school district. They are doing great here and we enjoy being in a smaller community and more in the country. It is so quiet and peaceful where we are, I like that.
The chocolate business, "Chocolate Inked" is starting to take off. We have done some grad parties, a wedding and a large birthday party. We have also gotten smaller one piece orders as well. It is a lot of fun and those that receive them just love it. It is very unique and there are not many people that have this business. I love that it is not a franchise although we have the chocolate company support. We purchase our chocolate from them as well as our brochures and other supplies. It is a great business to have and I know that it will grow very quick.
I will check in now and then, I have been thinking about everyone and hope you are all doing good. I will keep you updated on the happenings with the sale of this house.

I don't mind having this house on the market, I am just praying that it sells. The market is still very slow in Michigan. Our realtor had about 8 fliers in the box and they are gone today. It could be nosey neighbors up and down the road, who knows. She hasn't gotten any calls, so I am thinking it could be anyone on the road. Remember we are in the country and houses have acres of land, not yards to play in. We have five acres of land and that seems to be small compared to many that we have met. The kids don't mind moving again, we will be staying in the same school district. The kids are doing well so we don't want to move them.
Anyway, check out the website you will love it! I don't "pour" the chocolates, I buy them made already. We put the photos, logos and text onto the chocolates. There is a coating of icing on each chocolate and we print on the icing. The chocolates are poured into molds at the factory and the icing is all put on my hand and then put to dry. I have started to get calls for orders and that is exciting. We will do one chocolates or 1000 chocolates, it depends on what you need. It is a fun business and I don't eat the chocolate much. It is the same with cakes, I have done them and I don't lick my fingers anymore. I take a bite of the chocolates, I do make mistakes now and then and those can be eaten. I have some on the table and the kids come in now and then and take a piece, just not everyday. It works out well.
