I went on antidepressants a couple of years ago and gained 25lbs in a *very* quick amount of time. I ended up switching meds because of it, and went off the meds completely eventually. Since then, it has taken me 2 years to lose 10 of those lbs. <ugh>
So, this summer I did the MyFoodDiary.com thing. I exercised quite a bit ~ running, biking, WP and CS ~ and netted 1200 calories day. I didn't lose one.single.pound. My clothes didn't fit differently. Nothing.
In September I hurt my knee pretty badly and was forced to quit exercising for a while. Even pilates. So, it's been almost 2 months now, I haven't done MFD or exercised and I haven't gained anything. (well, I'm up 1lb today, but I think AF is due any *minute* now!).
So, while I'm really happy I didn't gain anything on my "haiatus" I'm just as frustrated that I worked so hard all summer with the exact same results.
Any thoughts? I've been thinking of seeing the doctor and having my thyroid checked...again. <sigh> I had it checked twice before (years ago) and it came back "fine." I do have a family history of thyroid problems, and a lot of the main "symptoms."
It *is* strange that I worked so hard and ate so well and didn't have *any* results, isn't it?!?!
Sorry for the rambling...just frustrated.

Your calorie intake sounds really low especially for all the exercise you were doing. I took a weight loss program years ago and it was 1200 calories a day. The next time I took it it had bumped up to 1400 (I think they found 1200 was way to low).
Hope your knee is feeling better now ((Hugs))

Hmm... very strange. You would think you'd have *some* sort of change!!! At least in your clothes or something!
I'd say talk to your Dr. & get your thyroid checked.
Sorry about the knee, but I have read a lot about runner's knee before. I hope you can get back in the swing of exercising again!!! Good to *see* you post!
Hugs,
Jess
