I know...after 2 months I *should* be going to the doctor.

I just saw my dad last weekend and he's having problems with his right knee, too. LOL. He went to the doctor (much better insurance than we have! LOL) and was told it was tendonitis and just to ice it and take anti-inflammatories. I figured this was the same advice I'd get, which is why I haven't gone in. Plus it was getting better. Well, it's really bugging me again today, so I tried researching it again, and I finally found something that describes my pain perfectly: patellofemoral pain syndrome. Anyone ever deal with this? Here's what I found:
If you have this condition, you feel pain under and around your kneecap. The pain can get worse when you're active or when you sit for a long time. You can have the pain in only one knee, or you can have pain in both knees.
The exact cause of patellofemoral pain isn't known. It probably has to do with the way your kneecap (patella) moves on the groove of your thigh bone (femur).
How to deal with it....you guessed it....ice and anti-inflammatories! LOL I think I'm going to also have to give up my thinner heels (shoes) for a while, too.

But, I also found some streches and strength exercises to help, which I am going to commit to doing daily. I want to exercise again!!!!

(OMGosh....did I really say that?!?! LOL) I guess it's also called "runner's knee"....makes me feel like a jock at least! LOL
