I ordered two more Cathe workouts: Butts/Gutts and Drill Max. I did the High Step Circuit workout again and am liking it more and more. The first time it seemed like so much changing- from high step to low step to tubes to weights, etc., then I realized it is supposed to be a "circuit" workout. DOH! I guess I was expecting more of a cardio step workout (you know I have that cardio addict thing, too), but now that I know it's a total body workout I just do it on my non-cardio days. (Does that make sense?!) I figure now I'll have three good workouts to rotate on my non-cardio days, in addition to my two beloved Core Secrets off-the ball workouts.

I really need to stop buying this stuff! I've already told DH I'm covered for Christmas so not to buy me anything. :)

How's the PT going?

Oooh oooh ooooh, you'll LOVE them!!!! I got them both last week!! I loooove Drill Max, it's an awesome workout!! And Butts & Guts you will be feeling for days!!!

I love Cathe's Circuits. I have her Cardio & Weights & Step, Jump, & Pump & they are that way. Once you do it a couple times though you'll know when to pick up the weights, band, or whatever else she's using.

Let me know how you like DM & B & G, can't wait to hear your review!! Yes, I love Cathe too, my Christmas list has more DVD's on it!!!

Didn't you say that you got IMAX 2 also??? I love that one!!!

I was also going to recommend Kick, Punch, & Crunch that has Legs & Glutes on the same DVD. If you like kickboxing, this is a great workout!!! It is fun too!! And L & G has some great leg strengthening work w/ ankle weights (but you'll feel it even w/out the weights!) and of course the glutes!!!

Hugs,
Jess

Let's see.... I have IMAX 2, but that is going to take me awhile to master, I think. I'm a bumbling frustrated mess on some of her moves. That pivot turn stuff makes me dizzy! I love the "blasts" though!

I have Cardio & Weights but haven't tried it yet... hopefully on Thursday. It looks to be a little more my speed, LOL.

I'll probably pass on the Kick, Punch & Crunch, though. Never had a love for kickboxing moves. Too hard to get my stiff hips up and contorted like that. :yahoo:

I'll let you know when I get the new ones!

Lisa

P.S. Do you have Boot Camp? I just previewed it at Cathe.com. Looks like a good one, too.

I think you'll really like Cardio & Weights, it's a good workout! I like her circuits, they're fun & go by quickly! I love the IMAX 2 blasts too. IMAX 3 is a bit more impact w/ the blasts, more 2 jumps on & off the step, etc.

The kickboxing moves aren't complex in her KPC, but it does get your heart rate up!

I don't have BootCamp, but it does look like a great workout also!! I don't think you can go wrong w/ any of her workouts, honestly!!

Hugs,
Jess (feelin' like a Cathe junkie! :yahoo: )
