And small update- had my PT y'day & today & my IT band is definitely getting better!!! I have a lot better range of motion & am able to stretch much deeper. I have a bit of pain in my knee afterwards but later on it feels a lot better. Foam roller is getting easier too, it's not torture the whole time anymore!!
Hugs,
Jess

LOL! Honestly, I'm waiting for a morning when I'm feeling really "on" and *alert* to do that IMAX2 again. I can just see McKenna trying to dial 911 if I wiped out and crashed into the TV. YIKES! I got my two new DVDs today (right AFTER I got done working out.... GRRR!). Can't wait to try them.
Glad the ITB is feeling better! I think the key for me is just increasing s-l-o-w-l-y. I still don't run full out on the treadmill without my walking intervals. I used to run until I started to feel "the twinge" until my dr. gave me that scab analogy- "running till it hurts is like pulling off a scab"... Bleh. I would love to go out and run for a full hour again without stopping, but right now I'll just take any 10 minute intervals I can get! Go slow girl and keep up those stretches! And I bow down to you and your foam roller. I still HATE that thing and have to force myself to use it.

Too funny!! I love IMAX 2 though, it's just fun!! And it's not fair that Cathe looks so awesome & she was 6 mos post-partum in that workout!!
Yes, I plan on increasing my mileage very slowly also. I don't have any races planned til a half in May, so I have plenty of time to build up base mileage again!!
The foam roller is a torture device- seriously. HATE it, but I know it's working. My stretches are working too, let me know if you want to know the stretches I've been doing!!!
Hugs,
Jess
And I did Cathe's Power Hour this afternoon- great total body workout! (an older one, I have the VHS)
