I had the most absolutely crazy weekend. I won't even begin w/ all of the details but ended up at the Dr's office w/ Kiersten (strep throat), went to drop off some stuff at Goodwill & a guy backed into my parked BRAND NEW van (his fault, obviously), and then had a big mix-up w/ her meds at Wal*mart. Thankfully my Mom was here to visit (what a fun visit, huh?? :P ). I'm so glad she was here to help out as Greg was out deer hunting. (shot-gun season, he's had it on the calendar all year!)

Now Hannah is running a temp & sore throat so she's home from school. I'm waiting to hear back from the Dr's office. It's gotta be the week of a holiday, right???? :P I guess it's a *good* thing that I had to take Allison to the walk in clinic last Sunday for an ear infection as she's been on an antibiotic all week so she shouldn't catch it!!

BUT, I did managed to get in my workouts & so far I'm hoping NOT to catch strep throat. I'm washing & disinfecting everything today!!!!

Hope your weekend was better than mine!!!

Oh yeah, and we're traveling to my Mom's for Tgiving so I don't have anything major to do other than packing for the trip. We are all going to my Uncle's house (Mom's brother) & are all bringing something so that makes it easier on everyone. We'll be at my Mom's from Wed night- Sunday. I did manage to make 2 pumpkin pies w/ Hannah y'day so at least I feel like I got something done!

Hugs,
Jess

Hope all the sickies go away in time for Thanksgiving.

This past weekend was very lame :) I had a migraine to deal with each day so lots of laying around (which means NO exercise). I did gets some baking done, made some nice meals and some cleaning. Today it was back to work!

This week is crazy with two kids off (one still in school til Wednesday). I ONLY have to work 2 days though so YAY.

Told ya it was Lame ;)

I need to get myself back on plan with WW and back to my usual exercise routine.

Our weekend was spent working our butts off at a youth retreat. I did not get much exercise besides walking hallways for hours on end!LOL! It was a blast, but we are exhausted today. I even let the girls sleep in and sent them to school late.

Oh no! I hope the girls get better soon!

Kayleigh had a sleepover with 2 of her friends this past weekend for her birthday. Little buggers stayed up til 12:30! LOL Needless to say, I napped yesterday!

I know I haven't been around here much lately. Truth is, I haven't exercised much lately. Between my work schedule and my knee injury, I haven't done much. I think I'm also battling a bit of depression. I know exercise would probably help, but it's been hard to feel motivated lately.

How's your brother doing, Jess? Have you heard from him since he left? My best friend just got back from Iraq last week. It was so good to talk to him!

Same old, same old here.... work, work, work on the weekend. Stayed up until 2:30 am the last several nights so I'm taking it easy today and trying to catch up on my house work and laundry! I have just three weeks left until deadline.

This weekend I was able to clean out the kid's movies and books and make a nice donation to the library on Saturday. Also made time to get my hair cut, get the kid's pictures taken outside and Christmas cards ordered, picked up a few Christmas presents at Target and make it over to the kid's school to change our PTA sign. I spent Friday afternoon at the school taking photos for the yearbook, so I got a good start uploading photos over the weekend, too.

I'm still working out every weekday morning, mostly for my sanity! It's become such a great stress reliever for me that if I don't, I get grouchy. :)

I had a great weekend! :P Didn't get any working out done, but none the less.

On Saturday we went to the Ohio State v. Michigan game and had a blast! It was a great game and we won! Yay! We had a nice lunch @ DHs uncle's resturant in Columbus and a really good dinner on the way home. I am sure I will regret it when I step on the scale tomorrow, but we all need to splurge sometimes, right? My SIL kept the kids so I had a really nice day out w/ my DH. ;)

Sunday I spent most of the day cleaning and trying to get ready for Thanksgiving. Everyone is coming to our house this year.

I did not get to workout again today (for a grand total of 3 in a row :o ) since we had to take my youngest DS for his next round of checkups at the Cleveland Clinic. Hopefully all his labs are normal and we will not have to go back for 6-9 months (where is the finger's crossed icon?).

That's it for me. Back to the gym tomorrow! :)

Oh my what a weekend you had Jess...lots of (((Hugs))) and I hope everyone gets well soon!! Hope it doesn't cost much to fix your van - at least no one was hurt or in the car.

Saturday we went to a birthday party for one of Christian's classmates. They had a magician/balloon man and the local fire dept stopped by so the kids were allowed to step inside the fire truck which was cool!

Sunday we had a playdate for one of Christian's classmates who lives close to us. The mom is expecting baby #3 in February and plans to start running again after the baby is born so I may have a running buddy next spring! :) Josh was invited too and we had dinner with their family. The kids had a blast and couldn't stop asking when we could go over to their house again.

My in-laws arrive today for a visit and will stay with my BIL/SIL who live down the next block. We are having Thanksgiving dinner at their house so it should be fun since they have a nice large kitchen which will make preparations easier. I baked some pumpkin bread yesterday to give away and tonight because the kids devoured the mini loaf I made. We may sleepover on Wednesday night at their house since the kids enjoyed it a lot last time we did that.

Thanks so much for asking, Allyn!! I know I haven't posted much about him, but my constant thoughts & prayers are with him. My Mom got an email from him on Sunday, he made it to Kuwait City & now is at a place very close to the Iraqi border (not sure of any more details). He's been through some pretty intensive training & bad conditions but he's in good spirits. I'm thankful that he can keep in contact some through email. It will be hard for him not to be here at Tgiving & Christmas but I am thankful that it's only for 6 months....

How great that your friend is home from Iraq!! I'm sure he's happy to be home for the holidays!!

Hugs,
Jess

Nope, I don't think I actually posted it. He knew he was going over but not sure when. He only had a day's notice & he flew out the the 11th. Thanks for your P & PT, keep 'em coming while he's gone!! My Mom's having a rough time w/ it. I am sooo thankful that he got leave to come back to see Grandma & attend her funeral, it made it much easier to go through.

Anyway, thanks again!

Hugs,
Jess

Here's my update:

Um... I'm still pregnant. :emote_party: I'll be 30 wks on Thursday (11/23) and I've only PYBO a handful of times this pregnancy. The good news is that I've "only" gained about 25 lbs thus far. That's not great, but it's less than I gained with either of my girls, so I'm ok with it. ;)

Right now we're in the process of selling our house, so I'm having to keep it about 15 minutes from "show ready" all the time and it's killing me. :emote_birthday09: LOL! I'm exhausted by the end of most days from chasing after the girls and all of the cleaning... Of course, we're also busy looking for a new place to live. All sorts of fun stuff, lemme tell ya'. :hugs:

Other than that, not too much goin' on down here. :)
