On Thanksgiving morning, I stepped out of my bedroom for a moment to get something in another room and as I was coming back towards my room I heard Joey talking to his baby brother. Daniel was looking up at his big brother smiling and cooing as Joey was telling him all about "Thanksgiving" and what it meant. It was so cute. After Joey told Daniel about all of the great things he'd be eating at Grandma's (like turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, pies), he told his breastfed baby brother "and you'll be having Turkey Milk"...

So here's Daniel (who will be 4 months old on Dec. 3) on his very first Thanksgiving:

Saying grace (oh who am I kidding, he's just trying to plant his face in my plate of food...do you think there's like 4,000 calories on that one plate! DH filled my plate for me... :P )

Gin...our camera doesn't have a lens wide enough to capture my face these days...

In time...until then, all mirrors in my home will be destroyed, lol. Sigh. Ahhhh, but I just look in Daniel's eyes and it was all worth it!

Thanks Jess. Yes, I think I'm almost recovered. It still hurts when I sit on it or when I lie down and going from sitting to standing and visa-versa is still difficult, but otherwise it's MUCH better. A bit of a setback after sitting on it in the car for so long this weekend, but I'm not concerned

What beautiful pics of your family as always!! LOL about the turkey milk and the Halloween Build-A-Bear box! We did something similar when Josh was a baby too. We put him in a big box with a blanket and took his picture like he was just delivered...lol! Seattle pics look really cool! TFS!
