Keep turning pages and listening to those books on CD!

I finished listening to Songs of the Humpback Whale by Jodi Picoult. I didn't like the first CD but after that I was really into it. I'm now listening to Manhunt by Evanovich. It's fun. I had to stop listening last week cause Nick and Alex were on spring break and it's not appropriate for their little ears!

I'm also still reading Fitzgerald's Tender Is The Night.

I'm still listening to The Wednesday Letters. It's really good. I get to where I'm going then find myself sitting there listening until it's to the end of a letter or chapter. Most of the book is written as a story. Only parts are in letter form. I have to admit I've cried quite a few times with this book. It may have to do with what's going on with my Mom and how I'm dealing with that. Anyways, it's a good read or listen

btw, I'm so glad I started listening to books on tape. The drive to school and around town is some of the only "free" time I have so it's nice to do something I love while driving.

I agree! I got out of the habit but now that it takes me 20 minutes or so one way to work, I get to listen. And, the boys are not always in the car with me so I have free time again!

How to Have a Green Thumb Without an Aching Back by Ruth Stout and Book 4 of Percy Jackson.

I am making my way through the Diary of Wimpy kid series. I figure the kids love them so much I wanted to see what the fuss was about. I know....I'm sooooo sophisticated.

I finished Shattered by Karen Robards over the weekend, and I'm back to Sue Grafton - "Q" Is for Quarry. On CD I'm listening to Superstition by Karen Robards.

I started "Prayers for Sale" the other day; it had been sitting in my pile for a long time and a friend of mine mentioned they were reading it in her book club and thought I'd like it, so I pulled it out. But, then I got distracted with Harry Potter.

Kayleigh just got interested in the Harry Potter books for the first time and as she's finished each one, she watches the movie to compare them, and she's constantly wanting to talk about them, so I figured I'd join her and read them again.

finished The Year of the Flood, interesting, darkly humorous, enjoyed Oryx and Crake better it didn't jump around as much. nice Margaret Atwood though!

think I'll pick up World Without End by Ken Follet. I read (re-read actually) Pillars of the Earth last year and think it's time to pick up the last. I also still have Echo in the Bone if you can believe that, I'm totally saving it. not sure what for but I don't want to have no more of the Outlander series waiting for me!

I finished The Wednesday Letters a little bit ago. I finally brought the last CD in the house so I could listen to it while I did stuff--it was that or sit in my SUV listening . It was really good. I think it's what I needed right now.

I won't start my next audio book until next week. We are going away for the weekend and I'm pretty sure I can't convince Neal and Kinsey to listen with me (plus K doesn't need to listen to it)

so scratch that Ken Follet . . . I made the "mistake" of browsing the library yesterday when I went to return the Atwood novel . . . picked up The Children's Book by A.S. Byatt and am really excited about it. One of my all time faves was her book "Possession".
