Gretchen: Did you finish "Reliable Wife?" If so, did you like it? I read "An Inconvenient Wife"...is it the same author?

Keep turning those pages....

Finished Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons. I think the best part of the book for me was the structure. Each chapter began with a book that the book club was reading and then was followed by an experienced shared by one of the women/members. I checked the book out for myself after our book group met Thursday because I want to jot down some of these books for future reference.

Now, I'm back to finishing Fletch's Moxie by Gregory McDonald which I'm reading with DH. I should be done with that today or tomorrow.

Then, want to get back to Whiplash for myself.

Finally, I decided to start a new book group -- the women's book group at church is getting stuck reading only book kit books and I feel that is limiting us. There are so many good books out there. Next time they're reading The Dogs of Babel which I own and have read so I will join them then but not sure how often I will join them.

There's a small group of ladies (three others) who want to read other books and we're going to rotate at our homes. We're going to read Still Alice first; I believe. We're awaiting confirmation from one other woman to make sure she's up for it. Then, we'll probably meet sometime in July. I have to go pick up the book from the library as I've reserved it just to be ready.

Wow...a lot of reading! I love books!

I'm still in the first part of The Lady Elizabeth; last week was so busy, so I didn't get much reading done. I'm planning on working a lighter schedule the next couple of weeks, though, so I'm hoping to get a lot of reading in!

This was me too. Busy busy, so still near the beginning of The Story of Edgar Sawtelle. Have a big stack waiting for me at the library so I better get going! wink.gif

I did finish A Reliable Wife, in just 2 days it's fast and has a great twist in it! (and such a relief after taking 6 weeks with the last book that was so bad)

I'm deep into Wicked now and loving it!

I'm going to have to give this one another try. I gave up on it the first time I read it.
