ACK! We have been super busy trying to get the house in ship shape.
We textured the ceilings in our downstairs bedroom over the weekend. Let me tell you...what a MESS! We were going to do the family room too, but DH told me if I want that done, I can hire it! He was not happy with painting (or any home improvement project, for that matter. LOL). He WAS very happy with the results though.
Now I just mostly have some cleaning to do before Wednesday, a little bit of organizing. We moved a ton of stuff to the garage, but will be moving it to a storage unit when I get one. I hope it's not that big of deal having it nicely stacked in the garage.
I'm feeling a teeny tiny bit optimistic because my best friend just listed her house a couple towns over, and she got an accepted offer on it in 19 days! We've looked at what's on the market and are pricing it on the low end. There is STILL a lot on the market though. Guess time will tell.

Not too much going on here! Summer is here so we have been busy! My stepdaughter is coming for the summer next week, so that'll be fun. I'm gearing up for another busy season waitressing (
). We've been doing little projects around the house...hopefully we'll actually finish them, lol!

Doing the improvements is definitely the not-fun part, but I'm sure they'll pay off. I hope it sells quickly!
Our house has been on the market for 12 days and we've only had four families come through so far, but we are one of the featured homes in our zipcode this week on Realtor.com (search 21009 and we're the one listed for $345K with red shutters and a one-car garage). Hopefully, that will generate some more traffic -- plus school lets out this week here.
We have until Oct. 1 to sell, but I really don't want to have to pay rent plus mortgage for that long.
Our inspection on our new home in Florida went seamlessly. We move in the weekend of June 24...the moving truck will be a few days behind us. The kids are both registered for school now too.
